Network help plz

My mates and me a trying to setup at network game but when he tries to type in the IP it says he can't connect to server.

It is weird because:

14 days ago he could.
My other mate can join the game.
We have the same patch.
I have my router setting correct.

Does anyone know why he can't join?

download Hamachi then all the players connect to the ip4 address of the player acting as server , simples

download log me in hamchi from here https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/download.aspx one person creates the netowork the others join. then the person who created the netowrk creates a game and they copy your ivp4. if you are looking to join one add newfmnetworkgame12 password is 123. we starting in 20 mins

I have thought about hamachi, but it is just weird that what used to work doesnt work now? should everybody have hamacho or only the creator?

If you used Port Forwarding Guides Listed by Manufacturer and Model - PortForward.com for your router settings and set up and IP address sometimes the access gets changed and you need to do it again. If you can do it through portforwarding its a lot better and faster and you wont have hamachi lagging your internet connection up. Plenty of guides on how to make it work on google mate.

My router settings are perfect and my other mates can join, so that isn't the problem.

Now we tried hamachi and when he tries logging on with the hamachi IP adress it "thinks" and nothing happens

Theres a firewall on the router that sometimes block acess or its reset its settings. Or its your regular firewall not allowing permission. You have to get him to check his firewall on his pc too to see if he is being blocked. Theres a really good faq on si forums if your stuck.
