New centre back's for Arsenal

Hi,

I'm going into my second season for Arsenal and after spending a season with quite leaky and shoddy centre backs anybody got any good recommendations that have been tried and tested maybe for Arsenal or other top teams?

Oh i currently have youngster Rafael Toloi as back up to Vermaelen, but I am selling Squallaci, Koscielny, Djourou. Will be keeping Nordtveit at the moment to see how he developes.
 
I haven't signed him on this years game but you could try Phillippe Mexes, i think you can sign him for between 8-10 Mil.

Even better considering he's an international player. Not sure how you feel abt using the RTE but ive just looked for some defenders on it and found a young defender who mite be a good player, he's called Mapou Yanga Mbiwa

I'm liking the suggestions of Mexes, havent signed him since before he played for Roma. I am looking for expereince and couple more youngsters so will check them out.
Also any really good english suggestions will be useful, Phil Jones got amazing on FM10 in the second season so gonna try get him.

haha just sold Bendtner to AC Milan for £6.75mil, result, paves the way for Dzeko for £8.75mil :)
 
Cristian Zapata, Phil Jones and Ryan Shawcross are all doing well for me. I was worried I'd upset Rambo by signing Shawcross but luckily SI didn't put that in. :p

i like the sound of this guy, never heard of him but will check him out. he should be in the 80000 players i have loaded up. lol.

im in my second season for arsenal, and have Ryan Shawcross, Phil Jagielka and Simon Kjaer as my centre backs in a rotation system. Also use Vermaelen as a left back, hes been rather effective.
 
mamadou sakho best defender at his age and great development after 1-2 years
 
PHILL JONES. Consistent, young, english, fast, strong. You can even retrain him for right back.
