Hey. I am going to university in a few days and I currently share a Football Manager 2010 disc with my brother.

It has my current save on, which I am really enjoying. However, when I go off to university, I am going to have to buy another copy. Is there a way of transferring my save?

Or is the game saved to my computer, and not the disc?

Thanks for any help in advance. :)

Save the game to a external harddisk and then after u intsall ur new copy of FM10,copy and paste the save game into the saved games folder in ur new game's folders

Thanks for the quick reply.

Sorry, I am not very good with computers at all. What is an external harddisk?

Disc's don't hold any of your data, it is all saved to your computer drives, so if you are taking your computer, you will be fine, if not as Alcaraz said put it on a USB or sumin.

Just pop your save game onto a CD/DVD/USB Stick/External HDD/Laptop whatever and just copy it to the new computer.

\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\games\

Find it in there.

Oh, I am using the same computer, so will the save just be there to load when I start up the new disc?
