OK, so I had a wacky idea for a new English League System...
The Leagues could be regionalised from the top down, i.e. London Prem - London D1, East Mids Prem - D1 - D2 etc, with the winner of each region's Premier League playing off for the Championship at the end.
The Cups could still be nationalised.
