New laptop

Hi guys , not that great with specs etc on a laptop/PC but my old laptop got broken and want a new one, obviously to play fm 14 and beyond but just wondering if this is good enough

Well it will play it. It won't be able to handle a huge database with lots of leagues loaded. But the processor when turbo boosted and 4gb ram should give you a reasonable experience. I wouldn't expect to get much from the 3D though.

That i5's clock speed is only 1.6 GHz, I'd aim for 3.1 GHz personally.

Alos, I recommend you never overclock a laptop's CPU. Because of the confined space in laptop mo'boards, they are prone to overheating problems. Intel usually don't provide overclocking features in their CPUs but I've had many AMD processors come to me in dire condition because people overclocked them without adequately cooling them.
