With Football Manager 2011 on the horizon we shall be recruiting new moderators in time for the surge of activity.

So be on your best behaviour over the next couple of weeks and maybe you'll find yourself with a nice green name.

That is all.

Right so here's the plan, we are looking to recruit moderators for as many individual sections of the forum as possible. While it would be ideal to have moderators for every section going, if there are no candidates who we deem suitable then it will just be moderated as it is currently.

Ok so the sections that we will be looking for are as follows:

FM General Discussion - If you're experienced with FM and all of it's foibles then you'd be ideal for this section. With a fair amount of general queries posted everyday, it would be great for all involved if you could redirect the posters to the required threads or even answer the questions for them. Most of your time will be simply spent moving threads to the correct sections or redirecting users to the required threads.

FM Stories - Ok this is quite possibly the busiest section of the site (sigh) so we will be looking for 2-3 moderators for this section. So you will be required to make sure people don't have more than two stories running at a time, that stories that have ended have their threads closed. Enjoy.

Players -One of the busier sections of the site. Your main responsibilities will include; ensuring that questions about individual players are all refined to one thread, making sure that anyone looking for players actually use the looking for a player subsection, and maybe answering questions in the stickies.

Tactics - Similar to the players sections - except not as busy.

Graphics - This would cover all three (Faces, Logos, Skins & Other) Graphics forums. Someone with knowledge in these areas would be ideal to help out the new folk. Apart from the kit threads there isn't much activity so you will mainly be carrying out general moderating tasks, closing/moving threads as well as doing what you can to answer queries.

Editing - Another fairly quiet section of the forum so the ideal person for this job will have experience with the editor/fmrte/etc and can help other members as out as much as possible.

Football - The busiest non-FM section on the site. Mainly responsible for sorting out duplicate threads (Thanks BBC ;)), making sure topics are in the right area (England, UEFA, etc), and for doing what you can to stop all of the xenophobic, pointless, and one word posts/arguments.

So if you would like to be considered then Send me a PM containing answers to the following simple questions...

Why We Should Make You A Mod?

Including the sections you're applying for in the subject is also helpful if you want to do that.

All serious applications will be posted up in the staff room where we shall decide n the eventual Moderators. Good luck. :)

Please only apply for a position if you frequently visit the section in question, or are knowledgeable in the subject (eg,Graphics)

If you are only in it for the title, you will just be removed, please think about this before submitting.
