New player needs help

Hey guys I just got FM2013 and I am attempting to play but it is a massive game and need some tips to make the experience what it is for all of you.

Although I am a Yank, I watch the BPL every week and follow football year round.

I was attempting to sign a striker but guys valued at 10 million are being offered to me for 45 million. I need help with the transfers, the scouting, and the financial part of the game.

If there is already a thread I am sorry for asking. If not could you please help?

I would probably take the tutorial of the game and then start up a new save.
After this, please feel free to ask any questions and I would advice to look in the sticked threads at the top of each section of this forum to see where to post, find guides etc.
