How long will it take to train a player to a different position?

You might be able to quicken it up by keep on playing the player in that new position as well as concentrating his training more on to the new position.

It varies per player i think because of adaptability and other mental attributes as well as previous experience.

Like written above regarding training and playing him in that position. His training schedule for a certain role ( like advanced playmaker etc ) has no influence though.
