New stadium as result of sucessful international tournament bid?

I've been playing FM for years but I have yet to see whether a team or teams have had a new stadium as a result of a sucessful international tounament bid

This message comes up with the promise of new stadiums/stadium expansions and I'd love to know if anyone has profited from this....

Has this ever affected anyone or has anyone seen this happen? I'd love to know either way....

And who pays for it? Does it come out of the clubs finances? Do the FA pay?

Or do the new stadiums only appear for the tournament and not for the clubs?

I had that message today!

I got forest to the euro spots three seasons running and it's 2021. England were chosen as hosts for 2028 beating holland and a few others but there must be a bug because Groningen and a few other places in holland are getting new grounds.

Gutted Forest won't get one but would be interested to know how it works too.

It'd be kind of strange for it not to happen, id just love to know if it did

I guess its just the one part of the game iI'd love to know about lol (addicted?)

Problem potentially solved. I've moved on a few seasons and my board have randomly decided to build a new stadium but without telling me. I think the Dutch clubs mentioned before are actually me and a few others!
