New Stadiums

My question is similar, I am managing a tier 9 team. I'm only looking to increase the capacity, stadium (only 1600) Not to get a new stadium. I've always wondered how the seating increase works and is the increase based on the population of the town?

Don't hold your breath. I took Harrogate Town from the Conference North (6th level of English football) to the Premiership and I had a whopping 6,500 seat stadium. The stadium starts off at around 4,000 if I remember correctly, but with no more than 500 seats. All they kept on doing was increasing the amount of seats while the overall capacity was only upped once I made the Championship and Premier League, and even then it was minimal stuff.

I would guess that reputation and population have something to do with it. Harrogate is a small town and the club itself is not of grand stature.
