New to FM14

My girlfriend bought me FM14 for Christmas and I am getting my laptop today to play it so tonight I'm ready to go.

I am going to do a Liverpool careet so what do I need to know about this years game?

Tactics?
Future Stars?
Hidden Gems?
Hints & tips?

Tactics?

Not much debate over who the future stars are, but this is where the debate begins. The most successful tactics for me seem to share the Control mentality and Very Rigid fluidity, but it depends on your team and your players. Look through the forum and you'll find more tactics than you care to bother with. The tactical shout system is extremely flexible, and I encourage you to use it throughout the game depending on the situation.

The 352 walls of steel tactic on this forum works great, as I had much success with a very similar tactic of my own. And apparently the Dortmund gegenpressing tactic is good. But I haven't used it.
