New To FM2010, few questions?

Hello all,

I'm brand new to the Fm world, just saw 2010 in my local store for a bargin price so thought I would buy it and give it a try.

Im an Xbox gamer and a FIFA hardliner, never played PES and have never played a FM game before but as the wife now watches Xfactor/Xtrafactor and all the other rubbish on telly, I needed a way to do something fun hence this (if its any good i'll splash on on 2011!)

The questions I have are....

Which current patches do I need to get the current season?

I'm an Arsenal/Aldershot fan so having the 10/11 season players would be good, are theyre any of this sort?

Any others that you guys can think of as a "must have" patch/download for FM2010?

Well to get any updates for the current season you will need the 10.3 official update which you download and then put in your db folder which is inside the sport interactive one.

Then you have a number of options to get the current season.

You have a number of choices for transfer updates which can be found in this section.

Put this file into editor data.

because if I dont like 2010 I've only wasted £10, if I buy 2011 and don't like it I've wasted £30+

Sadly mummy and daddy don't buy my games now!

Okay rather than directing you to every download I'll just point out, at the top of the screen there are 5 boxes, the two you want to use are "Transfer Updates" & "Game Addons" hovver your mouse over either box to find a drop down menu, select one of the links from the drop down menu and you'll find tons of downloads for what you're looking for.
