Hey guys just recently purchased FMH for the iPhone 4, just couldn't resist for £3!
Anyway I am new to the FMH series but have played 2010 & 2011 on PC so I'm not a complete newb.
Been a Liverpool fan I just have to manage them but after playing through a 'test' season I'm struggling to find form. Finished 8th in the League, won the League cup and lost in the FA final. 2nd half of season I would constantly draw games or loose. What am I doing wrong? I tried different formations, different players to no luck!
Any tips, pointers or something to help me out? I enjoy a challenge but been 18th - 20th in the form table just makes me loose interest in continuing.

Dont use wingers. Not even RM/LM's to be honest. I play almost every team with 1 dm, and 3 centre mids. If your a team like Liverpool then change your RB and LB from 'full back' to 'wing back' in player tactical roles. They will get LOADS of assists for you. It seems the way handheld is made it just doesnt make enough use of wide players to be honest.

**** I just bought Junior Hoillet in my new save. Doing okay playing 4-4-2 attacking. Will give the 4-1-3-2 a shout if things follow how they did in the 2nd half of season in my test out season.

play your younger players, the more experience you give them, the better they become. try and stay in the job for 4 seasons to get your club/player loyalty rating up, then, if you've won at least 3 competitions, you should move to an overseas club to change your reputation to national, and you can easily get a internaional, and thts a great starting point. hope that helps :)

Tactic

You could try 4-3-2-1 (for PSP ideally, but you get the rough idea). Stole this of fmhvibe and it's worked a treat for me:

The side CMs have arrows to RM/LM and the AMC have arrows to FC either side the lone FC.

With Spurs I am top, my first season and it's only mid January though, only 1 loss and 4 draws! Around 73 points too. Goal difference of 50 ish as well! Hope it helps :)

^^^ THAT IS NOT MY TACTIC, HERE IS THE ORIGINAL:

[PSP] Ashez 4-3-2-1 - FMHVibe

Dec, He's playing on iphone 4 which is on ios. I think you should give him the Dec's Ashez 4-3-1-2 to him. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Cheers, these tactics have really worked for me, I am 7th in prem with Swansea, beat both Liverpool, and chelsea, and drew arsenal with 10 men, they really do work. Cheers
