new to football manager

hey football manager 2012 is my first ever football manager game. i have started my career with wocester city in the blue square bet north. i was wondering which players i would be able to get in on frees or loans wocester are currently linked with birmingham city so i am able to get loan players off them without paying wages on the players. should i use the link with birmingham city lots or sparringly
