Hi guys,

After managing most of the top teams in England, Spain and Italy(getting bored of winnin everything).. i've decide 2 try my hand at International management.. so i thought there is no better place 2 start thn at...... U guess it New Zealand!!!!
Over the coming months and hopefully years i hope 2 pull New Zealand out from the shadows of near neigbours Australia and quailfy 4 the World Cup finals!!! I will try over the comin matches give at brief match report and progress report!!!... Wish me luck.

P.s Up the All Whites..

Ive just uploaded the proper kits for New Zealand and the rest of the Oceania Nations.Have you downloaded them yet?

good luck. international management is boring.. but give it a shot. it might pay off. make sure you dont sleep. won the world cup with england

Well heres my first updates on my first taste of international mangement...

Havin a quick look at the New Zealand squad not many players jump out at you as been "premiership class", only Ryan Nelsen (Blackburn) fills tht position. Andrew Boyens (New York Red Bull), Chris Killen (Millwall), Simon Eillott (San Jose Earthquakes), Tim Brown (Wellington Phoenix) and Chris James(Tampere Utd) could be regarded as a "good championship players".
Rest of the New Zealand national side is made up mostly from New Zealands premier club.. Wellington Phoenix!!!.
Havin said tht i was still confident of been a sucess if i back up my backroom staff, i did that by bring in Brian McClair (coach), Mark Dempsey (coach), Bobby Gould (coach), Jim Fraser (Goalkeepin coach) and Stan Ivancic (physio).

Expectation from the NZL FA was to quailify from the OFC World Cup Qualifiers..

After much excitment and expectation my first qualifier finally came around and it was away against New Caledonia

New Caledonia v New Zealand
Goin into this game i very Confident of victory as i had a full team 2 pick from.. i went for a 3-5-2 attacking..
The game started of slowly with NZL avin much of the possession without much sucess in front of goal. It was NCL who had the best chance of the first half tho as NCL player Aucher pass finds Xatie Taua unmarked on the edge of the box only 2 find his shot crash off the bar!!! After a much dissappointin first half showin i was glad 2 see the 2 teams go in level..

Half Time NCL 0 NZL 0

After some much chosen words said at HT NZL started the second half brighty with James, Berto and Killen goin close... it was tho down 2 my star CB Ryan Nelsen 2 brake the deadlock for NZL with an header from a Chris James freekick!!!!!.. NZL by now was showing there quality against there lesser opponents and it was only NCL goalkeeper from prevented the victory been much greater..

Full time NCL 0 NZL 1

End of the day a wins a win but must do better when we come up against much better european opposition!!!

NEXT GAME- New Caledonia (Home)

updates fron the New Caledonia game comin up shortly

P.s i will try 2 get some screen shot of my progess.

Cheers UP THE WHITES..
