One person who doesnt get enough credit for me Is Barton, hes a top player, was fantastic at city, had to go though after he beat up Ousmane Dabo, if he wasnt such a bad boy, he could have been a great player for England

Carroll is supposed to be a bit of a ******* off the pitch too...

Carroll has been involved in many off-the-pitch incidents in his career. On 14 September 2008, Carroll was arrested by police called to the Pudding Chare in Newcastle responding to a report that a woman had been assaulted, and later accepted a police caution for assault. In 7 December 2009, he was arrested in the aftermath of a nightclub brawl, accused of smashing glass in a man's face outside of the Blu Bambu night club in Newcastle city centre. He was also arrested after an incident on the training ground which allegedly left teammate Steven Taylor with a broken jaw.[18] He was charged with assault [19] and is currently on bail awaiting a Crown Court trial.[20]Carroll reportedly suffered a broken hand in the incident, and he was shortly photographed in a pop concert with bandages to both hands.[21] Manager Chris Hughton and club representatives declined to comment any further on the incident.[22]V

Anyway, cant believe Carews penalty, why did he want to hit it that hard!?

Too many of our players expected to win that match.....I said after football sunday a.m, I got a bad feeling about today after we relegated them 2 seasons ago.......2-0 maybe 3-0, but 6!! Humiliating. Honestly believe tho, if we had scored that penalty, we might have gone on to win.....and was A Youngs effort penalised for handball because it wasn't offside, didn't want to watch the replays ;-)

If the Geordies work this hard in every game, top 10 is on the cards

An excellent display by Newcastle and Ireleand has a debut he wants to forget and quick, still I can see Aston Villa bouncing back from this defeat once they get a permanent manager
