First of all let me say hello readers and welcome to my first story for FM13. I have decided to start off with a team I am very familiar & comfortable with Newcastle United.

To try and keep it interesting for you guys I want to try and buy lesser known players. I hope I also get some suggestions on whom to look at from you guys.

First things first board meeting went well and i have promised them attacking football and to sign young players for the first team.

The board are also expecting a top half finish which is not my own expectation. Top six is my goal but i really want to be challenging the top four.

The first thing i noticed with the team is the lack of good wide players with the exception of Santon and Ben Arfa. So i have decided to set up with a narrow 4-3-3 formation and retrain Ben Arfa as a striker.

Already i believe this team is capable of challenging the top four i just need a new right back and more squad depth. (Suggestions would be nice?)

First game Sunderland at home will be a huge game and i think will set the tone for the season.
