First anniversary on Saturday and as you would expect it is a big deal........aparantly.

So, just looking for some info on the lovely city of Newcastle. My hotel is booked but i want to take the Mrs somewhere nice for dinner on the Saturday. I am sure there must be some Geordies on here and any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Cost is not an issue, just has to be a nice place with good food.

Cheers,
Scott

Try Gusto on the quayside mate. Very good food, reasonable prices tbh. And opposite is The Pitcher & Piano, great place to have a drink, and (weather permit) sit outside overlooking the tyne.
Also Marco Pierre White's Steakhouse has decent reviews, however never been there myself.
Loads of bars/restaurants down Grey Street too, mix of mexican restaurants, good pubs, italians, indians.
ANything else, just ask :)
