News - Am I missing something obvious here?

Dunno where to post this so sorry if post in wrong forum. My question is, where's the other manager's respond when I'm declaring interest in their players? I didnt play fm09 but I did play fm08 and when I'm declaring interest, sometimes the manager issues hands-off or something like that. but fm10,nothing. and 1 thing that really ****** me off is that i didnt get news about the player in my shortlist eventhough I suscribe to all leagues, all options possible. made alexis sanchez a bid and they rejected it n when i view his profile again,says he's unhappy. so i go to the history>media and found that he's unhappy udinese reject my bid. but the game didnt even inform me neither in my inbox nor in the news. Did i do something wrong or they remove this option?

He's one of the best RW's in the game, he won't be cheap unhappy or not. Also, to subscribe to a player there is little star in the top right corner. Click that and it'll turn gold and you'll get all the news on that selected player.

it's just an example. yeah i already click the star thingy but i still didnt get the news. all players in my shortlist supposed to have that gold star but i didnt get news about them

Try checking the News section.

I knew that much. check a **** lots of time but still. none. at all.

Well that's weird. Not sure what's going on there. If you go to your inbox theres a little tab that says manage subscriptions, then just tick all the boxes to the right of the players name.

The player's box huh?well before, there's no option or even a player in the subscriptions, but last time i check there's few players there;players i recently scouted,how can i get all the players in the shortlist there?

Well turns out it work.

Still the managers cant issue a hand-off or ANY respond at all when I'm declaring interest in their player?
