(We all know and love him)Especially Dunc :wub:, due the one started last night which was littered with spam and foul language, I have decided to delete it and start a new one the way it is meant to be done!

i've always had problems with him, he just never seems to score on a regular basis, otherwise good player
 
havent had a chance to play him in 2011 yet, Chelsea payed 12mil for him.
 
ive just started a new game and bought neymar for 23million and i have to say hes worth every penny plays better on the left side of the 2 stikers and gets plenty of assists. :)
 
I play him with baraca, move him to winger(left), worth every penny.
in other save arsenal bought him for 30mil right at start.

Ive just bought neymar aswell for chelsea. only played one game as a 70min sub for Malouda but came on and scored! the future looks bright if his opening 20 mins was like that lol. well worth the investment so far. only thing is im not sure who i want to tutor him, any suggestions guys?
 
He is great, play him as a poacher and he is a goal machine, worth every penny of the 15 million I spent on him
 
I am using Arsenal. Bought Neymar the start of 2010/11 season.

From comments in this forum seems like people have problems with him in their squad, eg unsettled, bad temperant etc (Robinho issues). But I had none. He isn't in my first XI, but comes on as a sub sometimes, and starts in League cups, earlier Champions league games and FA Cups.

Currently in my 2011/12 season (October). Neymar had a ok first season, didn't do fantastic, but wasn't bad either. scored few important goals. Still doesn't speak English.

Most comments on this forum seem to suggest playing him as a poacher. But I play a lone striker formation (4-3-3 / 4-5-1) and don't think a poacher is suitable to spearhead my attack. Most of the time I played him as AML (Inside Fwd) and he did alright. ( Am I getting this wrong? )

My problem with Neymar unlike most managers here, is not with his personality/behaviour/temperant, but his attributes / training.

He seems to have really low stats for both poacher / Inside fwd attack (I could be wrong). I play him as a AML (Inside Fwd) but I set his instructions as Cross, Through Ball, Long Shots - all to Rarely.

His attributes doesn't seem to go up. Does anyone else encounter a similar problem? I can't be training him wrongly surely? Because Wilshire, same age, who plays as regularly as Neymar does, had his attributes boosted by quite a lot after a little over a season, whereas Neymar's attributes seem to be stagnant. I put them both on personalised training schedules, set to medium / heavy. Both have equal, regular playing times. Part of Neymar's schedule is Attack (Heavy), Shooting (Heavy).

Afraid this would turn out to be 20mil ( +5mil after 30 league goals) badly spent.
 
Got him for 24 million with Southampton.

He is fantastic. Great dribbler, once he gets the ball, magic ensues. Cuts in well from the left as well, and great passing ability.

Had two goal droughts for me, but luckily I had Kris Boyd to pull me through those times :)

Overall - a highly recommended signing.
 
was amazing for my lpool team in fm2010.
signed him for birmingham in fm2011 for 17mil. has been really poor so far with occasional glimpses of brilliance. had to give him over a months leave as he was homesick so hopefully he'll pick up now and start doing the business. i am only just into december in my birmingham save though.
 
Would he be a better signing than Eden Hazard? Please lemme know so I can sign him before Chelsea gazuumps me... What the **** kind of word is gazump??<)

One is a striker, the other an attacking midfielder ;) its like me saying I prefer Rooney than Gerrard, they dont play the same position...

I know, neymar is striker, and bernardo is CENTRAL mid :P .... just saying I love Bernardo more :D...
 
I manage juventus and have bought him for 18.25M.i have Del Piero tutor him.Is that good?
 
neymar is best player on game he is absodutly class with torres upfront
 
He struck up an amazing partnership with Edin Dzeko for me with Tottenham in one of my games got me to the Champions League final in 2nd season and 2 successive 3rd place finishes..

Around 50goals between them..

But i have also had failures with him in the wrong partnership he was particularly awful with Peter Crouch and he also didnt succeed for me as a lone striker, Which disapointed me for around the 17m mark.
 
i also got him for blues, but he has scored just once in 19, i play buonanotte just behind him, he scores freely but neymar is just struggling.
 
He was always the substitute maestro for me when I was Villa in my first season.
 
He has the same birthday as me, 5th February. Same as C.Ronaldo, C.Tevez, Neymar now, Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Rodrigo Palacio, Vedran Corluka, Manuel Fernandes. :)
