So, in my he first episode telling you guys about the use of the notebook, i had a comment saying something about what Arousal is... So i though it bring this up first in this topic. You can see here that stats do matter. Ill take my first league game for example. I looked up (yes, i research my opposition without assistant help) the opponents players on the game, and noticed that their striker had a high determination level and a higher work rate than the other players. So, i figured that if we can stop him, we have a good chance of getting through or around the rest of the players.

Here is the stats from that Striker.

Not only did i have to look up his stats, i already knew abit about Simpson. On the left under his picture, which you can't see. It says he is on loan from Huddersfield (my team).. so, i knew that there would be some history from him at my club. So, i looked up his career stats and everything and it told me that he had 13 appearances for my club, without scoring a goal, before moving onto Brentford. This was a good sign. This told me that he must get frustrated every single game up front, and my guess is that he wouldv'e been the lone striker all the time with the previous manager, because when i first took over, i saw that on the tactics screen there was a 4-5-1 formation, which is a slight indication.

So, remember, look at the stats of your oposing players. Some people cant be bothered, but if you want to play the game much more realistically, do so.
