Add the Nike T90 Aero II ball to your 3D View.

Versions of Ball Included
  • La Liga
  • White + Red
  • White + Blue
  • Yellow + Purple (High Vis)

Installation Instructions

1) Download the file NikeAeroII.zip to a temporary location (eg: Desktop).

2) Once downloaded open the file with winRAR and extract the folders inside to a temporary location (eg: Desktop\Nike-Ball\)

3) Go to your FM 2009 match balls directory:

Steam --> C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2009\data\sigfx\meshes\ball\

Non-Steam --> C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\data\sigfx\meshes\ball\

4) Pick which ball you want to use from the downloaded file. Copy the 2 files inside the balls folder (ball_shader.dds and ball_shader.png) and then paste them into the FM 2009 balls folder, overwriting the default balls. Make a backup of the default ones if you want.

5) Open FM2009 and go onto Preferences > Display & Sound.

6) Untick the box that says Use Skin Cache.

7) Tick the box that says Always Reload Skin on Confirm.

8) Press Confirm.

Yes it is possible to replace the orange ball.

If you want to use the Yellow & Purple Nike ball instead of the default one then do this...

1) Extract the files to a temporary location

2) Go into the Nike Aero II (yellow & purple) folder.

3) Rename ball_shader.dds & ball_shader.png to orange_ball_Shader.dds & orange_ball_Shader.png

4) Then follow the normal installation instructions.
