No press conferences

I just started playing FM16. At the meeting I let the asst. manager only take care of the friendlies and started playing. Soon I realised that I had no initial press conference (meeting the media). I still had no press conferences even when I signed new players. I looked through the inbox and realised I made some comments, but I never had the option to select them, nor was I notified there was a press conference taking place. Any help?

I have the exact same problem, and my assistant is not set to go the press conferences for me. Seems like there's a setting or something; but all my answers in the conversation history are dodgy.

What teams are you both managing is it because you to low down to get a press conference Ie Vanarma north/ South
