No Stadiums, help!

just started playing fm11 and everytime i go into a match their is no stadium or fans, just a load of grass.

im no football manager expert, but am i doing anything wrong or has anyone else had this problem?

i had this problem mate, click on FM in the top right hand corner, then preferences
then go into display and sound and tick the stadiums and crowd boxes etc
