Nolito and Brandt

Hello, I'm in January of the first season in my save, and Nolito has been transferlisted for 12.5 mil. I wanted to ask, if he is worth buying ? Also, will he loose his stats soon ? Because he is around 29-30 years old.
Another question I have is about the alternative signing of Juliand Brandt, who is transfer listed for 17.5.mil. The only conncern is I don't know long this save of mine will last, so hey may not become as good as Nolito as fast as I need. (Think the save will last for 5years)

I'm playing as Valencia on the newest LFC Marshall update. I bought Mertens at the start of the save, but he despite getting good avg rating, was the only player in the squad who started too loose all of his major stats all of a sudden.

I would say Brandt, I have him on my PSV save on the fm whizzkid update and hes been unbelievable first season.
