Non-contracts?

Hi everyone, I'm currently starting a new game at Vauxhall Motors at BSS.
I found out that many of my players are with non-contracts, so what does it mean by a non-contract? What's the difference with a part-time contract then?

Part Time have less time to train, and non-contract mean they are just amateur footballers most likely and professional clubs can offer them a contract.
