I found a young player with some reasonable potential ( scout with JPA 20 rates him at 2.5 stars) and tried to sign him in the January transfer window. His contract expires in 6 months and the only reason i bid was cause i wanted him before he turned 19 so he could be "trained at club" for European competitions. His value was at 2.6mil at the time and my bid was 7.5 plus clauses. Rejected. Gradually my offer went up to 18mil plus clauses where RC Lens 'negotiated" my offer for 41.5mil. Yeah right, i offered 25 just for the fun of it and when it was rejected i approached to sign him and i did. Come the end of the season the player will be mine, though already 19, RC Lens lost that asset for nothing. It's stupid and irritating and i guess the only reason i'm blubbing here is cause i was annoyed
