Ian Sampson Resigns
Ian Sampson has resigned as manager of Northampton Town. There has been many rumours around saying he has left due to personal reasons
to he could not handle the job anymore. In which we do not know but in what we know is already Northampton Town have already
named a new manager. Unknown Martyn Brown from Doncaster has taken the helm at the Sixfields Stadium. Martyn Brown has already set out his stalls at Northampton Town in saying that he will be trying to get Northampton Town back into League 1 by the end of next season if not this season.

Transfers

The transfer window has closed on this day September 1st. I have chosen to only bring in 2 players on loan. Both are goalkeepers and one
was from new parent club Stoke City.

Marek Stech

The young lad has been brought in on loan from West Ham for the season. He maybe young but this will gain experience for future development
and a good addition to the squad.

This goalkeeper has been sent from Stoke City to gain first team experience at Northampton Town and he will provide cover for Marek Stech.

Hmm, no other transfers? Isn't the Northampton squad a little weak?

I will be posting my results soon for August and soo far my squad have been holding their own and have cover for players with the formation I am playing.

Gonna follow too, good luck. Hope u have more success than i had with burton!

Has been a good month for us as a club, securing a parent club in Stoke City, but also for staying undefeated in the league.

I am looking to improve my story. I know it has only begun but I feel it can show so much more. What do you want to see?
