Nottingham Forest... Back to Where They Belong!

At the start of looking at this thread,I thought that you were aiming a little too high.No offence, but looking at how Nottingham Forest are not one of the biggest contenders to even make the Playoffs, where the likes of Newcastle United,Middlesbrough,West Bromwich Albion,Queens Park Rangers (and etc.) you would think that being champions of the Championship this season looks quite unrealistic - unless you buy the right kind of players that would give you that push for the rest of the season, and using the right tactic that would give your opponents a right struggle against you.

But,since I'm not disputing that,I wish you the best of luck and hope that you get to first.Looking at your results, you look like you have the calibre of competing quite well in the league. And with you being a Nottingham Forest fan,you would obviously have complete faith in your team and it's abilities to succeed.

Good luck.

Very nice story, only thing i always get the impretion that the title means the belong else were, anyways good luck

Justkutino - No offence but the championship is always very competitive, meaning that you may get the odd 'underdog' who has a good season. I maybe a bit biased but I would say that Forest have been fairly successful in their history, compared to your so-called 'big clubs' of the championship. Granted, our recent recent history (past 10 years) hasn't been great, but to say teams like West Brom and Middlesbrough are bigger I do find insulting. However I do agree with you that the right players and tatics are needed to succeed, thats just common sense really. Thanks for your opinion, if I may not whole heartidly agree with it!

LGFIRE - I have no idea what you mean but thanks anyway!

April Results:

Blackburn 0 - Forest 2 (van Nistlerooy & Aas) - Solid win against fellow strugglers

Bristol City 1 (Clarkson) - Forest 2 (Cohen & Van Damme) - War of words has begun with their manager David Platt - He said that Bristol would comfortably beat us! Result suggests otherwise!.

Forest 1 (van Nistlerooy) - Chelsea 5 (Jovetic 2, Anelka 2 & Essien) - Got smashed by Chelsea!

March ends with me in 14th with 35 points - 8 above 18th placed Hull , although they do have a game in hand. A win against bottom club Portsmouth should send them down and keep me up!

good results you got there, and even though you lost, scoring against Chelsea is pretty good.
