* I'm already 1 season and a bit into my career, but then i came across this site so i'll post as much as i can remember from the first season then start properly for my 2nd season.

Season 1

The start of season objectives were to achieve promotion to the 'Promised Land'; The Premier League. The minimum aim was to achieve a Play-Off place at the minimum. The Board were willing to give me £1.1 Million to achieve this.

The board formed a link with Manchester United, so a lot of young United players were drafted in as cover or to play a main role in achieving promotion. Other players signed were Inigo Sarasola. He was a player reccomended by scouts to fill the troublesome Left Back slot. After having a good pre season, it looked like £180k was going to be the bargain of the season. But, as the seaso began his form dropped, and gradually got worse so i was forced to bring in Fabio on loan from Manchester United.

In January, Richard Garcia was the big money signing, with Paul Anderson being injured for 2 months, i needed cover on the Right Wing. Things started well, with Garcia scoring on his debut. But once Anderson was back to fitness, Garcia struggled to make the 1st XI.

Players departing in January were Inigo Sarasola for £275k to Coventry after things didn't work out. Nathan Tyson left for the seaside, joining Brighton for £200k, whilst Dele Adebola was sold to arch-rivals Derby County for £28k.

August 2009

With not long to go until the start of the season; and only 1 new face arriving at the City Ground this Summer, Scouts have been sent out to search for an Attacking Left Midfielder. Chris Cohen is currently covering this position although his natural position is a Centre Midfielder. While the search continues for a Left Sided player, Cohen's training schedule has been changed so he can adjust to his new position.

-Joey Barton sent off for Newcastle

Nottingham Forest continued their winning won infront of the Sky cameras as they beat fellow Promotion Contenders, Newcastle 2-1 in a thouroughly exciting match. Newcastle's Leon Best got the scoring underway on 26', but Forest debutant Federico Macheda quickly replied for Forest 2 minutes later on 28'. With the match being end to end stuff, it was anybodies guess as to who would win. The, suprise suprise, Joey Barton lost his temper and received a straight red on 51'. Paul Mckenna fired in a superb winner 12 minutes from time to give Forest the all important 3 points.

Another win for Nottingham Forest, despite a not so good performance puts them firmly in the automatic promotion places. It wasn't the greatest of games, and the 2 Centre Backs had to show the Centre Forwards how to finish, with Wes Morgan and Kelvin Wilson scoring the goals for Forest.

A brace from Earnshaw ad an excellent Free Kick from Radoslaw Majewski earn Forest the 3 points here today. Forest stretch their Unbeaten streak in the League to 7; picking up a total of 17 points from a possible 21. Fans are delighted by the progess the team is making this season.

Cardiff 1-0 Forest
*Bothroyd

-Wes Morgan and Ritchie De Laet sent off for Forest

Nottingham Forest were beat for the first time in 7 league games today, after going down to 9 men against Cardiff. Wes Morgan was shown his 2nd Yellow after 25 minutes. Ritchie De Laet was brought on but was then sent off himself on 69'. When Forest's discipline couldn't get any worse, they go and give a penalty away, with Jay Bothroyd finishing comfortably. Forest should count themselves lucky that the scoreline wasn't by a bigger margin.

-----------------

Forest 3-0 Bristol City
*Macheda
*Earnshaw
*Gunter

-Paul McKenna sent off for Forest
-Paul Hartley sent off for Bristol City

Nottingham Forest returned to winning ways with a comfortable 3-0 win over Bristol City; despite going down to 10 men for the last 30'. Skipper, Paul McKenna was shown red after his 2nd Yellow. Macheda, Earnshaw and Gunter were the scorers with all goals coming in the 1st half. Bristol City Midfielder, Paul Hartley was also shown red deep into Stoppage Time for his 2nd Yellow.

-----------------

Middlesbrough 0-1 Forest
*Blackstock

Nottingham Forest striker, Dexter Blackstock, was the hero for Nottingham Forest tonight, scoring the winner deep into Injury Time. After a boring game with not many chances, Dexter Blackstock was brought on 74' to liven things up. He certainly proved to be a super sub and will now be hoping for a place in the Starting XI next week, after falling out of favour recently.

Fans Turn Up in Numbers - Clash with Doncaster is a sell out!

Forest 3-0 Doncaster
*Macheda
*Earnshaw 2

Nottingham Forest served up a feast of attacking football for their fans today, and if it wasn't for the superb form of the Doncaster keeper, Forest could of easily scored 6 or 7. Macheda finally broke the deadlock on 51 minutes, after a total of 17 shots in the first half. Forest were starting to get frustrated as Doncaster packed their defence, but they finally found a way through on 79', Earnshaw with a great finish. Earnshaw then grabbed a brace, scoring a free-kick 2 minutes later to make the score 3-0, and no way back for Donny.

West Brom 5-1 Forest
*Slory 2
*Moore 2
*Bednar
*Earnshaw

Nottingham Forest let their 3000 travelling fans down today, big time. In a game which was meant to be very close, with both teams challenging for the title, Forest just stood aside for the opposition. Slory put the Baggies up on 24' but Earnshaw replied 10 minutes later. The celebrations didn't last long, Luke Moore scored 1 minute later. 5 minutes into half time and West Brom got a 3rd through Moore, his 2nd of the game. On 62' they added a 4th, this time Slory getting his 2nd. A terrible afternoon was made even worse on 69' as top scorer Rob Earnshaw was stretchered off with a suspected leg break. To cap off a horrid day for Forest, Bednar added a 5th on 83'.

Earnshaw out for the Season!

Forest fans' favourite Robert Earnshaw, leading scorer in the Championship, has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a horrific broken ankle in the game against West Brom. This will be a huge blow for Forest who are challenging for the Title, as most of their goals have came through Earnie.
