notts county in championship, gunning for promotion and need help!

hey everyone! this is my first post.
basically i got 2 successive promotions with notts county and am currently second in the championship in january. my team is strong but very very complacent,

i have guti, obertan, etherington, chopra, ibrahima sonko, david button, jimmy abdou, schneiderlin, shelvey and lallana on bench aswell as harding, richard hinds who are all rotated. the effort is awesome against superior teams but complacency is such an issue and i think im gunna have to settle for a play off spot. if i were to go up the team would also need strengthening severely. the team concded many, often win 4-3, 3-2.

any suggestions on how to stop conceding, (conceded just 37 in 2 seasons before and have already conceded 39) any real gem of players who you believe i could get my hands on? [/I][/I][/FONT][/COLOR][/SIZE]

Depends on Budget, i would reccommend mathias jorgensen can be bought for relatively cheap, and is a quality player, have you tried using the stopper + cover partnership?

Have a look at Omer Toprak, young German central defender, will stop the goal scorers getting through and will also score goals from set pieces

Matos.. as in Ryder Matos? If so I don't think he's a regen, they just don't have pictures.

cheers so far. jorgensen is a great shout, bought him with liverpool on a different game. no the regen is bruno matos from porto. and the stopper and cover partnership?
