Great layouts and great results. What are the board's expectations and the media prediction? Cheers in advance and good luck.
Btw, Max did the Portsmouth story you copied the title off: Max's Portsmouth, Through Blood, Sweat and Arabs! HarryinHD (Harry Charnock) made the idea though.

If your near the window or have enough money, try to buy Patrick Agyemang from QPR, he got me 30+ goals in League 2 and isn't doing too bad in League 1. He's about 375k-450k.

Nowhere near a window and I'm about to sign Nathan Tyson from Notts Forest which will go through in January, but thanks for the help. ^^)

The board expected me to get promotion but I upped it to Winners, the media prediction is 1st and at the moment I'm keeping up with that prediction. :D

Doing really well in the league, dont think youve dropped a point have you? unlucky In carling cup and some nice signings, I'll follow

I didn't drop a point in August but I have in September which I will update later. I was pleased that it wasn't a cricket scoreline and the signings have been playing really well. Thanks for the comment. ^^)

a fab signing in mitea, he did beastly for my notts county save, id have gotten sam hewson and ***** topp though, they were also good

Mitea is awesome, his performances have dipped in the last month so hopefully they will improve soon. I didn't fancy getting Hewson as I had plenty of options in midfield and Topp was out of the question once I had signed Mifsud and Delfouneso. Thanks for the comment.

September Update

1st September 2009

A tough task lay ahead of Notts County as they faced Leeds United at Elland Road but they were boosted by news of a latest signing by boss Michael Henson. Henson had revealed that the club have signed ex-Charlton striker Danny Uchechi. Uchechi was said to be happy at signing for such an illustrious club. However, the young Nigerian has been shipped out on loan to Hucknall for the season so he can gain some valuable first team experience.

Review of the Month
Again it was another pleasing month for us. The standout result has to be beating Leeds at Elland Road, it was a difficult place to go to with Leeds being top of the league but we managed to withstand the pressure in the second half. Also the result against Port Vale had to stand out as well due to the fact we absolutely demolished them. The team has gelled very well with each other and it looks like we can push on and secure the title and promotion to League 1. I can also reveal that we have agreed to sign Scot Thompson from Portland. Scot will join after his current contract finished on 1st November 2009.

Player of the Month
1st – Alexander Prent (Notts County)
2nd – Andrew Proctor (Accrington Stanley)
3rd – Aaron Brown (Lincoln City)

Manager of the Month
1st – Michael Henson (Notts County)
2nd – Ronnie Moore (Rotherham United)
3rd – Kevin Dillon (Aldershot Town)
