Firstly has the number of regens for certain clubs been reduced in FM14. For example I am currently managing Huddersfield and on the recent English regen date I had 16 regens which is fine and normal. However when looking at certain clubs, most commonly EPL teams they only had 1-5 regens. Is there reasoning behind this?
Also despite playing the FM games for years now I have never really known the answer to this due to my random reasoning for starting new saves after a few seasons. If I offer a regen from my youth system or from another team a full time contract they will stay on a youth contract until they turn 17 and then go onto the agreed full time contract correct? Up to the point where they turn 17 and are still on youth contracts is there anyway for other teams to sign them without buying them?
