Portugal Boss Resigns
Portugal manager Paulo Bento has resigned with immediate effect as the manager of the Portugal national team. The reasons are said to be unclear as such, but sources from the Portugal national assocation speculate that attitude problems with players as well as a dismal qualifying campaign which almost saw the Portuguese crash out without qualification are the reasons for his resignation.
The favourites currently, to take over the job from Bento are Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho, Chelsea manager Andre-Vilas Boas and Benfica manager Jorge Jesus.
