Really enjoying playing with this tactic. I've achived some fantastic results, and the game feels revitalized because I need to scout for new type of players since I usually play 4-2-3-1.

Didnt do 2nd season as lost intrest in FM a bit, its all the same i mean tactics are based around same team instructions, all is getting fast, tall players.

I actually playing some CM 01/02 at the moment and SWOS 94 to 98 editions.

I began playing since CM2 hahah..

CM 01/02, which was the killing tac at that time? 4-1-2-1-2? The old version, I could bring a very low team really up to the top league or champions league, quite fun!

Also there was a trick that you could free transfer players also?

You can do free transfer even with these days version. Not with an editor ofcourse.....there was a fault in the match engine and this trick is still working hahah

A good tac can help a team with very low expectation winning the impossible! White Europe you are in FM forum many years already and been tested millions of tac. Obviously I see you revisit this one several times so it much be good!


This tac didn't work for me but am happy to try again.

I tested stephenks 442 and done very bad with it but my testing is not reliable for those who don't believe instant result.

Best tactic this year is Vujevic modern target man( won me titles with underdog teams), but as a fan of 3 at back this tactic is best for my way of playing.

with target i didn't have success as well. I felt it leaks a lot also, plus my both AMR and L always get very low rating....

Which of these 2 are better in terms of defense, from your exp?

I am doing ok with Odesa, implement it in the middle of the season and don't have all required positions yet.

Odessa bit stronger defensively.
