Yo, I'm ArtyHaire and I'm going to take you through my story at Odivelas Futebol Clube SAD.

It started in 2009 when I took to the helm of Portuguese Second Division South outfit Odivelas FC. We were predicted a poor 8th for the season and so I decided to bolster my squad with 3 signings on the 1st of July.

Alex - Esmoriz - Free
Sabugo - Free Transfer
Domingos Cardoso - Atletico CP - Free

Sadly only one of these players made an impact with Cardoso and Alex only playing 1 game in the whole season. Sabugo, however, turned out to be a bit of supersigning. Other signings that emerged throughout the season were:

Filipe Paiva - Belenenses - Loan
Ivanir Rodrigues - Free Transfer
Zakaria - Free Transfer
Diego Fuser - Canelli - Free
Toni - Taipas - Free
Rodrigo Gral - Free Transfer
Andre Pereira - Free Transfer
Vasco Oliveira - Free Transfer
Koumba Francis - Vila Real - Free
Augusto - Ac. Viseu

The players I've underlines and made bold turned out to be good. The others were probably mistakes. I also released a lot of players during the 09-10 season. We won all but one of our friendlies at the start which gave the whole squad a morale boost. We also reached the 3rd round of the Portuguese cup at the start of the season. Our cup games were:

R. Agueda 0 - 4 Odivelas
Odivelas 6 - 0 Gavionenses
Arouca 0 - 0 Odivelas (Arouca Won On Penalties)

Now for my first game. Our match to kick of the season was against early favourites Aljustrelense away, which we drew 0-0. We managed to score in our next game which was at home against Pinhalnovense which gave us a 2-1 win. (Goals from Koumba Francis (2))

Our season really jumped up from then with a massive 17 wins, 54 goals, and 59 points from 30 games. Not only that... but we finished in 1ST PLACE!!! But it wasn't over... we had to finish at least 2nd in the play-offs against the other 2nd Division winners.

AND WE DID IT!!! Promotion to the 2nd best Portuguese league... The Vitalis. Our team of the year was:

This was a brilliant season for us and we were looking foward to Vitalis life.

Our next season saw us finish 13th, 3 above expectation. (16 Games)

Next game against Boavista, a hard one. I'm gonna play out my strongest side, captained by Sir Balu ofcourse! :p

If anyone's wondering why Gral isnt playing, he is a sub, but I wanted to play out Sergio Van Dijk on Koumba Francis' (My Assistant) recommendation. Btw, my left winger from 09/10 season is the SAME Koumba Francis.^^)

Summary:
A suberb performance by the Reds, our first good scoreline this season. Lucas, really proving that his worth every penny I spent on him... Even though he was free! xD His Vitoria days are really beginning to prove helpful. Even though it's only the 18th September 2013, 10th looks a bit more promising!

Next game is Olhanense away. This is probably going to be our hardest of the season as Olhanense are favourites for promotion. No team changes.

Summary: Brilliant performance from Odivelas, we really were close to a draw then. Just that lucky Anselmo got in our way. Pleased with Rodrigo Gral, being able to come on late and score. We are now in 13th position in the league, but still, it is early in the season.

Our game today is against Gil Vicente, a difficult opponent. At home though... I'm going to try to spring a small surprise by bringing in young Jordanian, Thaer. Thaer used to play for Real Madrid and Castilla and has given us some good performances in the past.

Thanks Celtictillidie. My main tip would be search abroad for players. Brazil is a gold mine for young and old talent, like Rodrigo Gral. I'd also like to thank all my other followers. :D|)

Bonjour, Guten Tag and Hello again. We've just been drwan against Santana in the Portuguese 3rd Round, so watch out for my young striker Adolfo Alvarez. But now, we've got Moreirense to deal with as our league clash. I've brought in a few new faces to keep the team fresh. Had a bit of a worry when the game wouldn't load today, but it had automatically backed it up and seems okay.

Summary: Another great performance. Key parts played from Falkenberg (Some great saves), Araujo (Playing out of position) and Junior (Key tackles). This puts us in a fantastic position for the 4th Round where we might play Sporting CP, Porto or some other Sagres teams.
