Help..

Im trying to sign into the latest MSN Live Messenger (2009 edition it says), it signs in fine with an old hotmail accout I have but not with the gmail accoutn I had been using for 3-4 years on previous msn/msn live messengers, and it still works with ebuddy, windows messenger etc.

When I sign in nothing happens, it starts signing in then stops, saying nothing, unless I spam it 3-4 times then I get an error message. Its defos not a password issue as I typed in the wrong one and got the incorrect pw message.

Any suggestions as to the problem or any ideas as to an older version (not too old) I can download that works with gmail and doesnt force me to update?
