Official reply to the image-uploader?

Hey.
I know there has been some post about the problems with the image-uploader already.
But I haven't seen a moderator or others answer if the problem is going to be fixed or if it a permanent error?

If anyone has a good solution to uploading multiple images, I would be very interested!! :)

Also I'm wondering if the problem with pounds-sign turning in to ? - is going to be fixed?

Are their anyone that knows a user-name of a moderator, that I can write to?
 
There is mod section bottom of the main page. names are in there.
