When you have a player you're intrested in, it says in his transfer tab intrested clubs & clubs bidding. When you want to bid for the player, other teams who are intrested also bid with you. But when you remove the player off the shortlist, but you're still bidding, the other teams bids dissapaer & leave the player.
I personally think this is unrealistc and should be fixed, as this has been going for along time, I remember doing it in CM 01/02.
