I normally start with an abyssmal team and get them relegated in spite of an excellent fight, which in the long run essentially turns it into a one season contract: combine this with frequent media appearances, and you can (as I have) be able to successfully apply for a job at a much better team!
Sadly, while the first part above is usually how it goes, it is never how i plan it...
