Online game assistant taking over second half

i have a online game with a friend, 1st half plays fine. But at half time the team talk skips and assistant makes all the subs in the second half and i have no control over subs, tactics or anything.
The same is happening to my mate.
Anyone have any ideas what the problem is?

I'm having the exact same issue, an online game with 3 of us and every single half-time it automatically skips team talk, makes 3 subs, changes formation then continues the game and I'm unable to change anything. I don't suppose you found a fix?
