Online game help

Please can someone help

i am trying to set up an online game with a friend however every time he searches for the server name he can't find it.

I have set the game up how I should do, ticked the allow joins. Could it to do with fire walls or anything like that?

Make sure you both have the same download region in settings, try searching for the game via server name , also try searching using the "search for friends" option

Thanks for the reply, where do I find the download region?

Also is it easier to create a online via stream, if so how do we do that. Sorry for the questions, a little new to this
