I am based in the UK and want to play an online game of FM26 with a mate in NZ. Not a gamer by any stretch of the imagination, so can someone answer the following questions:
- do we have to be on the same platform? I am assuming that he cannot play on an Xbox while I play on a PC.
- Assuming I am correct in the point above, is it an issue if I have a EU version of the PC game and he has a Global one? Do we also both have to be on Steam or another platform?
- Is there a risk buying versions of the game from some of the seemingly dodgy places that sell them? Some of the places look a bit risky but they are selling for £12, as opposed to £50 on Steam
