Reading about the Jamie Carragher back in the England squad. Was wondering on the game is there a way of asking a player out of retirement if youre a national manager.

would love to help but cant. I dont think you can though because there is no option. Maybe if you keep praising or something he will come out of retirement
 
i was wondering why you cant interact with players when you are an international manager

cause i want to lick english players arses and get them to play for eire ^^)
 
Yes, interact with them. Won't work for all players but some high-calibre players give you the option.
 
yes, but they never do. it's in international interactions i think.
 
Yes you can just go to player interaction under national manager and ask to reconsider

I remember some lad got Stevie Ireland to do it

I feel your pain. Trying to get Stephen Ireland to play for Ireland again & Sebastian Frey to play for France. Have asked them 5 or 6 times each. Is it just a matter of praising them in the media?
 
It's possibly. If they have retired from International football, it's possible to bring them back. Done so with VDS.

Just interact with player [Int.] and there will be an option available. :)
 
Yeah I know where to go to ask them to reconsider int. retirement and I've asked them 5 or 6 times each but they always turn me down. Is there some secret to it?
 
once i made scholes' relationship high with me using fmrte (never use it tho because it is cheating!) and he accepted!
 
Make your relationship with thm high and then they will accept.....did it with Scholes and Adebayor
 
what to do is interaction, then tick ask to re think international what ever, i cant remember what it says, but you must play him in the next game or he will retire again
 
just managed to get jamie carragher out of retirement on my england save :D
 
I think it has a lot do with how successful you are as manager as well.
