overconfidence

hi my first post here, hope that in good section

I have a problem, i am winning almost everything and my star striker (i play one forward tactic) is always overconfident (other players too, but he is overconfident every match, regardless previous results)

This season i lost only twice and had 4 draws and i tried to rest him and play my other striker, which is slightly worse, however never gets overconfident and in fact my worse striker is now better goalscorer.

What should I do, how to prevent my star striker from being complacent and cocky, or should I just sell him and play my worse striker

Screenshots: Match against QPR, with Martino Ferreri (better striker on bench, and assman saying about his attitude) also Ferreri and Downey (worse striker) and my 3rd strikers in team (apart from them i have also 3 very promising strikers in u18). Please help

When my striker is over-confident i usually tell him that i expect i performance in a passionate or assertive tone, works for me most of the time..could try it and see if it works for you also...

Over confidence or complacency from substitutes when I'm winning a game big is costing me lots of sneaky goals towards the end.Anyone found a remedy?
