Has anyone lower their own wages, to free up more funds for transfer budget/wages for other staff?

I was in my second season and got offered a new contract, which I just set my own wages to $0. XD

Yeah i do the same as you its the only sensible thing to do. Even if it means i do not command enough security in my contract & can be fired cheaply

Did you set it to $0 ? I can lower that, but a lowest wage must be paid to you.

Transfer Budget is independent of Head Coach/Staff Budget. So, no, putting your wage to 0 won't exactly help out with that. Staff Budget, I'm not sure, but I don't think it affects that either.

Possibly the only thing it could affect is overall profitability of the club, but even then, it shouldn't matter too much.

Couple million dollars freed up per year adds up.

Although I always get as much as I can to improve security
