Jorgen Johansson, A Swedish National, found himself lost an overwhelmed with the hustle and bustle of France, He was working as Sports Journalist for Herald De Paris. Jorgen was assigned to write on the recent downfall of the city's true love, Paris FC. Jorgen interviewed the Chairman, Guy Cotret, After an hour chatting about tactics and the direction of the club Jorgen had enough to write a great article about the craft and vision needed to help Paris FC get out of the valley and climb up the charts.

Cotret knew that the paper was going to be a massive talking point around the dressing room, alot of the players had started to lose interest in the squad and became unable to believe in their current manager, Alain Mboma, Who was close friends with Guy Cotret. Cotret's ambitions were greater than Alain could handle and Alain stepped down as the manager. Cotret was now furious and began frantically looking for a new manager. Team Captain, Ibrahima Faye, suggested that Cotret go and speak to the journalist that wrote the article in the Herald De Paris. What a wonderful idea Cotret thought, and was instantly on the phone with Jorgen.

Jorgen was delighted to accept the offer as the new Paris FC manager, he now had a chance to put all of his, up to now, useless footballing knowledge and share it with a keen and eager Chairman and fresh squad. The Story begins...

Johansson comes to the PFC club with only sunday league football under his belt playing a few games for semi-professional teams in sweden. His article in the Herald De Paris is his resume, and now he must act on his words.

Idea 1: Find a Suitable Parents club who is willing to loan out a couple good young players.
Idea 2: Hold a Trial day and sign some local talent
Idea 3: Attend the National Trial day and sign some young aspiring star
Idea 4: Improve Youth squad and facilities
Idea 5: Structure a formation and bang it into the players heads. "Let the ball do the work lads"

After an up and down pre-season Jorgen is happy with the Results that his team produced.

2 wins, 3 ties and 1 loss. 16 goals scored 10 against.

After a flurry of activity after the trial day, Jorgen Signs a number of young talented players, as well as some older experienced ones.

Cotret informed Jorgen that he will have no access to any transfer funds, the only funds he will gain will be from selling exisisting players. That in mind, we have a weekly wage budget of 9.286 Euros. As it stands Jorgen is over budget and after a few words with Cotret, he will have to release or sell a couple of players to free up the space. Current expenditure on wages is 10,900.

Jorgen decides that he'll have to rely heavily on speed and the counter attack so he sets up a 4-1-2-1-2 formation. The players are instructed to keep their formation and rely on the speed of their attackers to get the ball forward quickly on the counter. They are told to move the ball quickly through the middle of the park. The formation seems to be catching on with the players as they held a very good Malaga team to a 1-1 tie in which Malaga had to fight for their goal. A great defensive display.

Jorgen looks forward to the regular season with the squad he has assembled. Let's see how they play for him...

will be following :D could you post screenshots od your most important players?

good luck!

I'll give you a heads up in case you haven't noticed - Souquet's contract with Lille expires at the end of the season, and he's got -8 PA, so he can potentially become a good player at the top level. Try to sign him permanently ASAP.

Yup, I've already told him I want to sign him. At the moment I don't have the budget to sign him. I might have to wait till the end of the season and try and sign him then. But he knows he is my star player, I think after game I single him out in the press conferences! He really is class.

You can offer him a contract for free on the 31st of december.

Oh, awesome! Thanks I will try and offer him one then, Hopefully I will have moved some budget around. I am waiting for the first month of the league to go by, assess my squad and then go ahead and dump all the deadweight and see what I am left with then. I will post an update in a few minutes!

After a month of League Play Paris FC look set to battle at the top of the table for promotion.

Jorgen Has already completed a number of his Idea's for the club.
1- New Parent Club - Stade Rennais FC
2- Held the trial day, signed 4 new players from there.
3- Attended the French national trail day, Signed M'Bessa and Murcy
4- After intense conversations with Cotret, Jorgen convinces him to spend some money and upgrade the facilities. The job will completed Oct. 17th 2012.
5- Two formations have been drilled into the players heads. The Jorgen Special 4-1-2-1-2 and the more fluid 4-2-0-3-1

Cotret announces that Paris FC has sold 150 season tickets. Jorgen is bemused by this number, How can a city of this magnitude not come out to support his squad. Curse you PSG! We need to get those fans back into our stadium!

With Jorgen's 5 principles down, he must continue to motivate his squad to push for promotion. After 6 games, they have recorded 3 wins 2 losses and 1 draw. The two losses were hard to swallow for the squad, as they lost to Red Star 93 (A cross town rival) on a penalty given in the 80th minute for a contraversial foul.

With a month gone, Jorgen has had time to ***** the squad and begins to shift some of the dead weight with the OK from Cotret to cancel some of the contracts that were signed previously. Knowning this could be a potentially expensive month Jorgen starts to dump contracts.

Let's bring on the next month, Hopefully Paris will start a good wining streak.

A string of uninspiring results have left Paris FC fans calling for Jorgen's head. Can a succesful cup run help him quell the rioting french?
View attachment 206529

The League is becoming very tight, any dropped points by Paris FC see them lose touch with the top 3.

A few draws have left Paris on a bit of a slide, The good news is that they are on a bit of an unbeaten streak, They just need to string a couple wins together and they will mount a good challenge for promotion again.

View attachment 206533

Two Massive Results in the French Cup, a 7-0 win followed by a 9-0 win (See below) They are into the 8th round of the cup and will take on League 2 side Monaco.

Even with the pressure Jorgen has been under it has not stopped him signing new players and building a team. He knows that he has the chairman's backing so regardless of the fans he will continue to stick to his plan!

An update on my star player! The French Born Hugues Ayivi has been called up into the Togo Squad. He won his first cap a few days back! The Whole Paris FC squad watched in the dressing room as the debutant strutted his stuff for his native country.

Another impressive turnaround since Jorgen's reign is the improvement of the u19 squad, Look at those results! Youth works.

BREAKING NEWS!

Paris FC upset the apple cart, and beat L2 side AS Monaco in a thrilling cup tie. The Viking chose to switch up his tactics in order to catch Monaco off guard, He succeeded! Opting for a more attacking and flowing style of play Jorgen (The Viking - as the press are calling him) started with a 4-2-0-3-1 formation and planned to expose Monaco's flanks.

That man again, Ayivi pops up with his third hattrick in his third cup match! He is becoming a folk hero at Paris FC.

Giant Killers keep ploughing through - League Cup Victory over AS Saint-Etienne!

After beating AS Monaco in the 8th Round Paris FC were drawn against National Side US Luzenac. Paris FC easily dispatch them with a comfortable 4-1 victory.

Jorgen was nervous about being drawn against a big club like AS Saint Etienne away from home, but knew that he would have to keep that nervousness to himself. Puffed out his chest and told each one of his players that he has the faith in their ability that they can go out there an upset the ligue 1 team. The shots favoured the Ligue 1 squad as well as the possession but the fight that the Paris FC squad showed was unmatched by Etienne, Murcy put the away side ahead after finishing a beautifully crafted cross by Scotte. The Ligue 1 team managed to fight back and scored a scrappy goal inside the six yard box. It was going to penalties! Jorgen's heart was in his throat, he chose his spot takers carefully and sat back and let his players do the rest! Not a very religious man, but he found himself staring up to the heavens muttering "Come on lads, Come on lads!"

Jorgen has found his Paris squad performing above expectations, his mix of youth and experience has payed off and his young players are gaining experience from the older lads. The formation rigidity is suiting the playing style and they are controlling the vast majority of the games. Big wins again Olympique and Poire-sur-Vie boosted their confidence and subsquently their league positioning. The cup run has done wonders for the squad beating out two much larger teams has brought the team together they now play for each other.
