So is this a purely defensive tactic? Would be wise to switch to it to defend a lead?

Not a defensive tactic at all,but need if it were better in attack was excellent, so even failure for not being very effective in offensive terms.

OIs are for both tactics?

For your 4-4-2 tactics you have OIs, but do we need to use the same OIs for 3-5-2 or no?

OP updated with opposition and team instructions.

Your tactics 3-5-2 is GREAT!!!
Ive used it without OIs and had 17 wins in a row with my FC Kaiserslautern team.
Im still in 1 season in 2 Bundesliga. Started with another tact, but didnt went well, so ive changed it to this one.
I use def. positioning, and my AM is doing all the rest in training.

But, must say that most of the goals i scored from set-pieces...

EDIT:
OIs from the opening post are no good for me. Ive lost 2 games in a row using them. One of the games was against 17-th team in the league. Tactics works better without OIs (for me).

I only tested it with OI's so I have no experience without them, but feel free to tweak it. Regarding the set pieces, I had 13 goals from corners in the leage but that's all, most of them were action goals.

When i was starting to use this tactics, on this opening post there were no OIs, but on your 4-4-2 thread i found this
I didn't used OI, but you should. Set tight marking - always to all opposition positions except GK and closing down - always to all opposition positions.
so i set this OIs permanently. But, when i used 3-5-2 tactics before evey match i was hiding OIs.

Didnt make any other changes. The tactics was going great. I have played more than 20 games with it (plus friendlies on half season) and didnt lost NONE.
In the last 3-4 games i have troubles when started to use the new OIs.

Can u tell me what kind of defenders and strikers do u use.
I dont have money at all, so what are the most important parameters for these positions?

Based on my experiences the mental attributes are the most important, consider those as primal when looking for any kind of players.

I see 24 downloads in the past day. Any of you having success with it and wants to share?

I tried it with Juve results are good but away games always a problem :/

Are we talking about the 3-5-2 or the 4-2-3-1? If you are using the 4-2-3-1, try counter on away games.
