Anyone ever tried legitimately parking the bus for a whole season on FM13?
I tried it with Torquay for a laugh and was fired half way through the season after being only 3 points above the relegation zone (H).
Played a very rigid 5-4-1 formation with contain.
Obviously full backs on defend, standard centre backs, 2 defensive midfielders 2 defensive wingers and a defensive forward. Drew most games apart from the occasional 1-0 loss (mainly thanks to the wonderful match engine on FM13 *cough *cough) and also the odd 1-0 win.
Quite interested in this because I think it would be possible to do very well with this formation given the right players/tactics. I always favour lower clubs for careers on FM which does make it a little harder to get the right players in though.
