As you will notice from the screenshots we were able to keep the good run going albeit a surprising loss against Brentford. All in all we won 4 out of our 5 league games, but disappointingly we lost in the carling cup which i had hoped to get a bit of a run in and challenge for.

The good results in september have put us in a strong second place. Not much more to be said about this so early in the season other than a good start.
Awards
Ledley King strong performance as newcastle manager in september with 4 wins from 5 league games claimed the leagues manager of the month award.

Petkovic put in a string of great performances in the league during september and scored in every game he started in 4 goals in the league and 1 in the cup, which helped him to the player of the month award. Simon *** also put in a strong performance in front of goal during september with 4 goals.
